Altra Volta's Spring concert for 2012 will highlight the music of these two great singer/songwriters! Join us June 9, 2012 for an evening of some of your favourite Billy Joel and Simon & Garfunkel songs. ChoralFest 2012

Altra Volta will be performing a short set at ChoralFest this year! We are slated for the 7pm slot on Wednesday, March 21, at the Leacock Theatre at MRU. Best of all, it's free! So come on down and hear us sing a few of your old favourites!

A new year brings new changes...

It is with a sad heart that Altra Volta bids one of our longest standing members, Keith Knudsen, "farewell". Keith has decided to take some time off from Altra Volta, and whether it be for a year or forever, he will be truly missed. We wish him the best of luck in everything his future holds for him.

In happier news, Altra Volta held auditions at the end of January, and is pleased to announce that two new members have joined our ranks! A big warm welcome to Daniel Mills, a trumpet player and former Soulstice A Cappella member, and Cliff Regino, an alumni of Mary's Grand and the U of C Vocal Jazz Ensembles! We look forward to working with you both!

Saturday, December 17th, 2011 -- 11:30am until 1:00pm

Feel free to stop by and have a listen. We'll also be selling our CDs, so you can pick up a few -- they make excellent stocking stuffers!

<em>Snowfall</em> is released!

Altra Volta is proud to announce that their 3rd album, Snowfall, is finally available! Over the next few weeks, we're hoping to allow our supporters to purchase this new CD (as well as either of our past albums) online. In the meantime, please contact us at info@altravolta.com and we'll be happy to setup an online transaction and ship your order to you.

Altra Volta would also like to thank everyone who came out to our Winter Concert on December 9th. We are so grateful to have such a wonderful community of supportive fans!
